The Young Can Change The World
Language English or Mandarin
Target Audience Secondary School and above
(The lessons are customised according to the various levels)

It is our belief that youth have a major role to play in shaping the world and given the opportunity, they will want to have their voices heard, especially on issues concerning them. It is thus important for us to involve them in our inaugural Community Theatre Festival 2015.

How to Participate?

There are three parts to The Young Can Change the World

1. Sign up for a 18-hour PLAY Creation Workshop

2. Play Creation Inter-Schools Showcase
At the end of each school semester in June and December 2014, we will be organising a Play Creation inter-Schools Showcase. One Forum Theatre play from each participating school will be selected to be performed for their peers and students from other schools. The Forum Theatre plays will be facilitated by our professional “joker’/facilitator.

3. Public Staging at the Community Theatre Festival 2015
Three or four Forum Theatre plays will be selected from all participating schools for public staging at the Community Theatre Festival 2015. Professional directing consultation will be provided to prepare the students for the performance during the festival. The plays will be facilitated by our professional “joker”/facilitator.

Optional

Presentation at respective schools
Schools may also stage the Forum Theatre play at their own schools, facilitated by our professional “Joker”/facilitator. Additional charges apply.
