Meet Joween, latest addition to the Drama Box family!
A fresh graduate of Applied Drama and Psychology from Singapore Polytechnic, Joween is a jovial young girl who readily greets the world with a big smile.
As Project Coordinator, Joween... coordinates projects! And this loosely translates to liaising with schools and giving them information about the workshops we offer and taking care of the logistics. She is learning on the job, and hopes to one day become a teaching assistant and then a teacher.
A self-professed bookworm, Joween reads A LOT. She likes DC comics, and some of her favourite writers include Christopher Brookmyre, Diana Wynne Jones and Haruki Murakami. Besides reading, Joween also likes to "abuse the internet", and listen to music with her expensive headphones.
In her effort to become more proficient in the Chinese language, Joween has initiated an "idiom of the day" routine in the office. Everyone basically has to understand what the idiom means and try to use it (appropriately) in conversations.
Joween is the object of our envy because she is a lucky girl with a loving mum who prepares a wholesome lunch for her almost every day! She might be the only person in Drama Box to escape the curse of growing fat from overeating in Chinatown!
