About the workshop

In a world that feels increasingly polarised, facilitating conversations across differences can feel both urgent and daunting. How do we hold space with care while inviting people to question assumptions, examine power, and engage with complexity?

This workshop explores facilitation as a critical, reflexive, and deeply human practice. Through drama-based techniques and collective reflection, participants will learn how critical pedagogy can transform the traditional expert–audience dynamic into a more collaborative and participatory process of learning.

Over two days, participants will delve into:

  • Understanding and applying critical pedagogy
  • Cultivating empathy through active listening
  • Asking questions that encourage deeper thinking
  • Creating learning environments that foster reflection, dialogue, and critical engagement

Who is it for

If you're a social or community worker, arts educator, theatre practitioner, educator, or facilitator for dialogic learning, this is for you! Please note the prerequisite mentioned above before registering.
