A mother asked her eldest daughter to get a jade bangle back from her cousin on the day of her aunt's funeral. The jade bangle had been left behind by their grandmother. And the story begins here. The mother and her two daughters, when put together, bricker, cry, laugh, and share tales of self-pity and sometimes of an ambiguous past.
