A new station is planned for the estate, but there is little space left and something must be demolished. What should stay and what should go?
The Lesson is a participatory theatre experience that places students at the heart of a real-world dilemma. Through interactive storytelling and decision-making, participants grapple with the complex issue of land contestation while exploring themes of development, sustainability, governance, and citizen responsibility.
As the experience unfolds, students confront the real costs, risks, and trade-offs behind shaping a healthy and sustainable society, sparking critical thinking, lively discussion, and deeper reflection on the choices that shape our shared future.
Available in English or Mandarin.
