Project Wonder is an arts initiative that reimagines school as a creative environment where students can pause, reflect, and express themselves amidst the pressures of school life.
The project may take the form of a short or long-term engagement, where theatre and participatory arts programmes create opportunities for students to share their perspectives, build connections with peers, and engage in creative processes that support wellbeing and self-expression.
Through hands-on repair workshops, participatory mapping, and drama activities, we support students in managing academic pressures, developing critical thinking and social-emotional skills, and opening up conversations about wellbeing.
Desired outcomes:- Activation of an underused school space
- Student-driven visual installation, performance, or exhibition presented within the school
- Students practise creative problem-solving, critical thinking and social skills through arts programmes
- Teachers gain insights into students’ perspectives through observation of workshops and creative outputs
- Students report better management of academic stress and improved wellbeing.
