News Busters! or Dua Dai Ji, is the first "Mockumentary Theatre" ever created and performed in Singapore, combining Italian Commedia dell'arte, variety shows and family soap opera. The play pokes fun of news headlines and satirises current events which affect everyone in Singapore. For the 2009 performance, the cast will revisit the history of Singapore from 1960s onwards, looking at the decisions made after our independence and how they have affected us after 43 years.
