Using Drama-In-Education techniques, we eliminate mundane learning methods of school textbooks. This is an opportunity for
students to develop language skills, spoken or written. This methodology aids students to learn textbook materials in a
pro-active and engaging way.
Creative TEXT-Style adopts an innovative pedagogy that emphasizes on experiential learning and aims to bring text to life,
making everyday class-learning more exciting.
This thematic approach uses activities and games to get the students on their feet and physically experience the text. It
is a highly interactive workshop that engages the students' body, mind and emotions.
Parallels will also be drawn from real-life encounters to enhance the understanding of the lesson and to heighten the
appreciation of the text.
Students will learn, discuss & explore their selected school-text, gaining new perspectives and opening up new
possibilities for the text itself.
During the process, the students will have a deeper understanding of the text and they will also pick up life skills such
as team work, better communication and improved self confidence. With renewed ideas of the text, students will be more
explorative in their search for knowledge and resources. This will also help them in being creative for essay writing.
