Main Season

Over the years, our main season productions have been staged to acclaim and has received several awards and nominations.

In 2006, Singapore Arts Festival 2006 commissioned Drama Box to produce A Stranger At Home.

In 2007, Singapore season in China 2007 and Singapore Arts Festival 2008 co-commissioned Drama Box to co-produce Drift with the Shanghai Dramatic Arts Centre.

Both plays had received raving reviews from the media and had brought in new audiences.

Community Theatre

Drama Box strongly believes in using theatre to reach out to people. Each year, we will tour to different housing estates and community places where audiences can watch our performances free. Audiences are encouraged to actively participate and experience drama during the community performances.

International Collaboration

Drama Box believes that the world is a global village of collective humanity and human concerns. We actively collaborate with organisations overseas to share our artistic vision and works with audiences overseas. At the same time, the collaborations will also expose Singaporeans to a greater variety of exemplary productions.

NeNeMas

As the education arm of Drama Box, NeNeMas’ works include interactive plays for schools as well as workshops specially-tailored for students, teachers and corporate clients using our unique methodology. NeNeMas aims to use our participant-centred methodology to empower students, so that they can make a difference in their own lives and also positively affect others.

ARTivate

ARTivate is the youth wing of Drama Box and is made up of a group of passionate youths who aims to reach out to the larger community through the arts.

ARTivate aims to nurture this new group of youths into cultured and socially aware theatre-practitioners in Singapore and also offers a career choice in the industry over time.

Blanc Space

The Blanc Space was inaugurated in 2000 to provide a training platform for performers. In 2007, the company expanded Blanc Space to include programmes for budding directors and aspiring playwrights.
